Air Conditioners
Just as with furnaces, there are varying levels of air conditioning efficiencies
to choose from. The seer ratings begin with 13 and go as high as 17. The 13 SEER rating is government
regulated so that dealers may not install an air conditioner with a rating lower than 13. Once again, the higher the

Heat pumps look just like air conditioners, however there is a world
of operational difference. Heat pumps not only cool your home in the summer, but they heat it until the outside temperature
falls below 35 degrees. At this point your back up heat, usually a gas furnace, kicks on. Just as air conditioners,
