History
A-1 United was established in 1975. In 1981, Ray Barr, Tom Brummett, and Stan Gregory purchased the company with the ambition to become successful as one of the leading heating and air conditioning companies in Omaha. After starting out with only one installer and one service technician, their dream has come true by growing into a staff of over 50 people and branching out into all areas of the HVAC business.
In 2007 Tom Brummett, retired after 26 years of committed service. He helped A-1 to become the company it is today and is dearly missed.
In May of 2007 A-1 United implemented and Employee Stock Ownership Plan, (ESOP). In essence, A-1 United has turned over ownership of the company has been given to our dedicated and loyal employees.
Over the past 29 years, A-1 United has become the largest Lennox dealer in the Midwest. We owe this to all of our devoted customers. Without you, our company would not be where it is today. We do service all Makes of equipment and are proud to specialize in Lennox and Bryant. We can meet your needs with Air conditioning, Gas heat, Electric heat, Heatpumps, GEO thermal heatpumps, Ventilation, Humidification, Indoor air quality, CNG (compressed natural gas) automobile fueling stations for you home and many more products and services.
Recognition
A-1 United has received several awards in the past years. Our loyal customers and hard working employees are to thank for each of them.
We have won the Omaha Magazine’s "Best of Omaha" award seven years in a row. Also, according to our customer satisfaction survey, our overall rating is a 98%.
The "DAVE LENNOX AWARD", for dealers graded by quality of customer service as well as sales volume, has been presented to us in 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2008. This award is only given out to the top 25 dealers out of 7,500 in North America.
Lennox also offers the "DAVE LENNOX CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD," recognizing dealers excelling in sales, service and management. We received this award in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2010. This award is only given out to the top 50 dealers out of 7,500 in North America.
